For those of you who follow the Dungeons & Dragons Universe, and let's face it, these days, who doesn't, the long-awaited major update to the ruleset and D&D world is almost here. Amazon has the fourth edition rulebook set up for preorder now, and it will be available June 16th, 2008. Although, we hear that internet savvy folks can obtain an e-copy now. You can expect the new games, MMOs, and anything else based on the D&D world to start getting updates based on the 4set within a few months. Again, just FYI for you D&D fans. For those who want a sneak peek, check out this thread.

Our agents are still investigating the infernal code but this looming vortex is now our priority. We need more time. We must discover what the purpose of the portal is and how we can stop it. Well, folks, while not necessarily gaming news, it is newsworthy nonetheless. Gary Gygax, the creator of the entire Dungeons & Dragons universe, died yesterday in his home. Now crossed over into the forgoten realms, we wish him safe journeys along whatever path he walks now. Gary has influenced so many games and developers that it is impossible to even being to estimate his influence on the gaming world. Quick, someone get a rez over to his place! Seriuosly though, he will be missed.

TTT has gotten their hands on module 6 for D&D online, and they take us through it today. The new module is supposedly the best yet.
